my OCI was dispatched on 16May, received on 31May; someone else received it on 30May. i suggest you wait till 10May, and if you see no movement, then apply for an e-visa.

That (different alphanumeric in passport field) is normal. Maybe some IT guys can explain why it's done.

purchaser name doesn't matter. yes, i've had OCI issued for the family with a single purchaser name.

the last one that was printed on 28May, is showing as dispatched (from MEA) on 29May. the first two, showing dispatched from MEA on 17May still showing no update.

in my case, dispatch from MEA was of 16May; i'm still waiting for the Toronto receiving! and at the same time i see many who've got all these stages covered on same day / within 2 - 3 days!
