My husband got his work permit. How does he use this for employment? Like is a SIN coming or is there a number that is used for deductions included on the permit? No letter came with, just the permit.

I do know they can stop you at the border and not allow you back in or restrict the time you are allowed to stay. It's a risk you would be taking and it can also result in your application being sent back. My husband has not traveled to the US for over 3 yrs now bc he did not want to risk not...

We were not yet requested to send a medical. Maybe they will ask that when they contact my husband? Do they always do a landing interview? Where do they usually do it?

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/04/10. I was given a UCI # and when I logged in today it said processing began May 10th, 2015.

Do children over 19 need to be included on the IMM 0008 now? Do they have to complete an additional or background dec form?

We just printed off the finger print page from the net. I assume if will suffice since they offer it on the FBI page.

To get prints done for FBI clearance while living in Canada..can you go to any branch of the Police to get that done? Here I only have choice of local regional police. RCMP are not in my jurisdiction. Or would he have to go to see a US border agent? Thanks.

Sent it in around early Jan. 2014, it came back in late Feb. Sent it out again and was received in Miss. on March 6th then came back again July 11th. The first time it came back b/c we supposedly forgot a forum even tho we diligently followed the check list plus had to pay a new fee for OWP...

One is 20 now and the second will be 19 as of Sept. so by the time they get to the app. they would be excluded anyway, correct? Filing Inland.

Mine came back twice and I was diligent in completing everything. Hopefully that won't happen to you.

UG..I am scared not to lol. They sent our pkg back with a letter asking for 5406/5669 again and they highlighted "for dependents 18 years and over whether they are accompanying or not.." If we included, but didn't need to would they just toss them or shred them?
