    Primary NOC code

It doesn’t have to be 1 year in a company to be considered as the primary NOC. There is no requirement under CEC about the length of each experience. In your case, I would put the 10- month experience as the primary since it’s longer and more recent. I don’t think it matters which experience you...

    Re; Proof of Funds

I have 2 years of work experience. Each year My NOA and T4 never were the same cuz I had 1 other side job. actually I think it’s completely normal cuz NOA is your comprehensive earnings, T4 is for each job. I didn’t bother to explain in my PR application cuz I think it’s common sense. You only...

Does an 8-months PGWP help at all with Express Entry points?

I don’t know if this could help you in any way, but my master’s program in Canada was 1 year long, so if the visa officer was really gonna dig and search, I would only get 1 year PGWP. I found my master’s program too challenging, so I took fewer graduate courses and included 1 or 2...

“Eligibility” in Tracker says Spousal class , but I’m CEC

Hi, I’m a CEC with May AOR. In my Application Status Tracker, “Eligibility” is In Progress, but when I click the “Eligibility” link to view its details, it say “What Does Eligibility Mean? We’re making sure you meet the requirements to be eligible for the Spouse, Partner, or Child class”. but...

Do I need to provide job responsibilities letters from all my employers

I’m not aware of the fact that foreign experience can be used to meet CEC requirements, so I don’t know if the 3-year limit applies to foreign experience. But for Canadian experience under CEC, then, YES, only the past 3 years before you submit a PR application are valid.

Do I need to provide job responsibilities letters from all my employers

If you were invited and applied as a CEC candidate, your foreign experience won’t be counted, because eligible experience under CEC needs to be Canadian. If that’s the case, the documents submitted in support of the foreign experience shouldn’t matter. Only your Canadian experience will be...

Reference letters for Self employment foreign experience

For CEC class, self-employed experience is not qualified. You have to be under an employer-employee relationship. And it can’t be foreign experience. You need to have the T4 slip. Taxes, EI, CPP should be deducted.

    NOC Question

Personally I wouldn’t decline it. Minor changes is okay between ITA and PR application. The most important thing is to be sure your score will not drop below the draw score of your round and you still meet the eligibility requirements of your program. Writing a LoE is fine.

When can I ideally submit an application for PR?

After you get ITA, you will have 60 days to submit the PR application, so you can continue to accumulate more qualified experience during that 60 days. personally I suggest accept the ITA, because you don’t know if the draw score will go up. If you find yourself not qualified anymore, you can...

Do I need to provide job responsibilities letters from all my employers

For CEC, only eligible experience within the past 3 years before you submit a PR application would count. You need employment reference letter for every work experience if you are claiming points from that experience.

Didn’t receive new PGWP after “opt-in”

Thank you. Called today but couldn’t even get in line. A month ago I called, the agent said he couldn’t see I opted in and asked me to wait till end of June. At that time I thought maybe it’s normal that he couldn’t see since there’s no application number. Now I begin to suspect IRCC opt-in...

From Canada dot com If you have applied for renewal of a work or study permit, and your permit expires before a decision is made, you have the right* to continue working or studying under the same conditions. You must remain in Canada during this time. This “implied status” will remain until a...
