    "Your Visa Officer assigned to your case will be going over the notes to see if there is anything needed to be CENSORED" -- The visa officer is not involved in censoring, processing or releasing the GCMS notes to a requester; it's handled by an ATIP officer at the ATIP department with IRCC.

    Not necessarily, for discrentainary class exemptions there can and is variability in how information is released. For the exact same information, IRCC may withhold the information while CBSA may release it. For mandatory class exemptions both institutions will withold the information.

    Hello @arbu45 if your Security is in progress and assigned to CSIS then there is no point applying for CSIS notes. You will not receive any "status" from CSIS until security screening is completed. Instead apply for the Gcms Notes from CBSA.
