    So officer at the border didn’t know about it either. I find ircc’s approach to it so strange. I told him to look for 2023 special facilitation measure for valid open work permit holders. He said maybe it’s something ircc has access to directly but not those at the border.

    I did not get a chance to opt in since I was waiting for an SOWP extension my work permit now expires in Nov 2023, so I now am eligible for the 18 month extension under the public policy. However, since I did not get to opt in I have to apply the regular way but the wait times are ridiculous...
