    Yes, you're in a much more dire circumstance. I'm sure there will be measures to address this whole COPR issue, especially ones which are expiring soon. I do wish COPR holders are given some level of priority as well.

    We're just going to wait until we get some clarity, hopefully next week. Our COPR expires in October but we want to be there before snow season, so probably June 2020. Right now the official information is not enough to confirm anything.

    You are fortunate, my wife and I have resigned, she, officially on paper, and me "verbally" but I have not sent in the paperwork due to the situation. I do hope the start clarifying this situation for COPR holders, I think it's fair to say we deserve some direction as well.

    I think it should be just a matter of time until we hear something more clear from IRCC. The PM's announcement may have taken them by surprise as well, and they weren't ready for the barrage of COPR holders' instant panic.
