What was the reason for medical admissibility? Did they give you specifics?

Yeah They ended up needing a copy of passport, as ours had expired and needed to visit consulate to renew, We sent it to them on Sept 6, 2019. Hopefully we get landing soon.

I don't think it needs to be a color copy. As long its readable and the passport number is clearly stated and renewal etc/

Yeh maybe in your situation it dosnt make sense, if you applied like 5 months ago than id say ye.

Yeh if CBSA has your passport IRCC will request internally to CBSA to release passport, if its expired it will mailed to you or your consultant. Than you may renew it and and send IRCC and updated passport photo that shows its renewed.

I never received receipt of email, I just called them to make sure they recv it, so they confirmed lol

No updates yet :( We sent updated passport photo on 09/06/2019 and they confirmed receipt of it so that's good. But no landing or DM yet. that's the final step in our process.

So very happy to hear that your PR is complete many congratulations to you and your spouse. I really hope this country brings you a great standard of living and happiness.

I noticed a lot of folks booked travel/vacations without PR being complete. I would be afraid to even book a flight based on the fact there's no official approval.
