Guys----it is 7 months since i completed the test.....but i still see only the test status marked as completed....rest all - Physical presence, Prohibitions and language skills is still in progress for me....... For wife everything is marked as completed.....and waiting for ceremony...

New to this forum - apologies if this question has been answered before. Should we wait for medical request to complete the medicals or could we do an upfront medicals for supervisa? What is the best place to get the medical insurance?

They dont reply to webforms. You will get a note saying it is not critical.

Did you check the status in the new tool....you will have an additional status for background check completion.....so might be beyond AOR

For my wife - everything is shown as completed and waiting oath date since Nov 22. For Me - everything except back ground and test is shown as in progress (issues with my test being validated only after 2.5 months after completion - issue with CIC). Kids ( < 16) also shown as in progress...

i think this is the frustrating experience....lack of consistency.......

And the IRCC agent assigned to my case, has made a mistake obviously. I completed the test on the very first day i was eligible (July 26th) and cleared with 20 on 20. IRCC did not change the status to test complete and rather indicated that I did not sit for the test / a no show basically...

Decision is still not made. I completed my test on July 26th but unlike others mine did not go to completed in 2 to 3 days. IRCC first said that I did not sit for the exam and after sharing the test confirmation through the web form they changed the status to test complete after 2.5 months. So...

To add...the frustration is due to the lack of transparency from IRCC. Really pathetic.... I am sure folks will have the below question....which need answers 1. Why is my case sitting quiet when updates are happening for others? Imagine people waiting 2019 and 2020 (probably before) but folks...

Agree.....things are getting better.....but there is a huge back log and it is not yet consistent and across the board..... Maybe you are right that they are getting ready for in person Oath and that could help.....but with COVID cases going up and down and as more restrictions ease.....will be...

my guess is as good as anyone in this forum......updates seem to be happening quickly for some with oath scheduled in quick time but that is not the norm...... so you could have the party or just the coffee or none at all.......

I think it would depend on a lot of factors 1. Whether you are moving to a province which is relatively quicker or slower than your old one 3. The stage of your processing etc..... But considering the current trends - it is fair to expect delays and consider yourself lucky when things move...
