Wowwww.. This is so weird. We replied to them on Sep 20 and still waiting for AL. People replied after us are getting AL's.

Someone who replied on Sep 30 to the 4 pointer email got their AL a while back.

Not just me, there are few other people waiting for AL who replied around the same time. I said I will book after receiving an extension.

As far as I know, people got their AL in about 10 to 14 days. But its generally taking more time now.

Well, only if they expire including the 6 month extension for M1..

It wont be rejected for sure. It would only be put on hold until you say ready to travel. They will assess the admissibility once again and request for PCC and Medicals again.

You could just say that you will do an AirBnb booking once the extension is approved. Also, promise them that you will share your confirmed AirBnb booking before departure.

I am in the same boat. Sponsorship applicant. Visa expired on June 15. Received email requesting for info like if we are ready to travel last week. Replied them by Monday! Let's see what happens next. Please keep us posted if you get an extension and I ll do the same too
