Am planning to go to India on Canadian passport with e-visa for India. I was also planning to surrender the passport in India. Would I need an exit visa while coming to Canada?

Anybody recently been to Vancouver Sinclair or Richmond passport offices? What is the wait time like? Richmond one is showing 1 hour 15 min for this morning and same with the Vancouver ones.

Completed the oath ceremony today. Wish everyone all the best and I think IRCC is moving fast now to clear the backlog so the waith should not be that long (even though it is frustrating!). Now on to the passport application:)

Minors applications are updated only at the oath stage. For my kids there were no update on BG, LPP etc. Once the oath date was finalized, the tracker got updated for them.

For those who attended the online ceremony, any issues? Anything to be mindful about? Do they check kids birth certificates?

This document checklist is for Entry visa, not e-visa! Those are two different visas.

Most likely that IRCC mailing office received them but they haven't processed them yet.

Like I posted above, panicking doesn't help! If you missed something, you need to wait till IRCC get back to you. The whole process is random, just go with the flow.

Your Oath schedule email has a section on what to do in this case. Basically fill a declaration, contact them ASAP

Can't do it through regular police station. Only RCMP or RCMP accredited agencies. Just go to one of the agencies and submit.

Panicking doesn't help, waiting patiently helps (sometimes)! Got the LPP complete and Oath download email today. Oath ceremony date pending - waiting patiently for this now :)
