1 week for normal processing...without police verification...sounds awesome...in Toronto jurisdiction it takes min 5 to 7 weeks..

1. Yes, you need to provide proof for Indian address. Its better to provide address where verification can be conducted. As per CGI Toronto FAQ: You can give the address of a relative or a known person in India as long as they can verify your antecedents during police verification procedure...

What is the validity for passport for a work Permit/PR after its renewed? Few people on Work Permit got 2 or 5 yr validity after renewing passport. Any idea? BLS/CGI website mentions 10 yr for PR/Work permit, though.
