Did you asked this from CIC? Did you mailed them and they responded by saying this? Where did you get this 22 month time frame?

You can ask them but I don't think they are able to give you any solid answer

I don't know. I called them several times and still the same answer. Just wait. That's what I am hearing since July 2017.

Have you added your spouse in middle of the process? I have added my spouse in Jan 2017. Received medical in Feb 2107. When I called them they said that we have received all verification's in July 2017. Since then file is in queue awaiting finalization. Please share your timeline.
