is there anyway we can push our Surrender application if it says Granted, available for issuance? Can we call or something?

Once we get the Canadian Passport and Surrender Certificate, we can apply for OCI right? How do we get the DDs for 3 people? Can we combine the Demand drafts? Like One Demand draft for Consulate (for 3 applications) and one demand draft for BLS (3 applications)????

I just called the passport program and after a 2-hour wait, they informed me that the passport and original documents were mailed out and they gave me the tracking numbers...woohoo...Update!!!

My status on the embassy website says " Surrender certificate has been granted and is available for issuance". What does that mean? In how much time, will it reach me? BLS still says "Processing at Consulate General".

My CC got charged last night. Hope to get the passport soon. What is the timelines after the CC charge?

Same for me buddy! Not charged yet. I called them holding for more than 1.5 hours and they say, it is under examination. Call us next week. We might have some update.
