They are definitely trying to complete them in 12 months, sadly that doesn't happen to everyone. It can cross the 1 year mark, ( it has for me) if you haven't heard bad new, it's good news :). Just hold on there and share your happiness once you get it.

That won't delay the process. You can pay it anytime and keep the receipt as you will have to show it in the landing interview. I sent mine with the application, one less pain in the butt.

Not to discourage you. For what I've seen in this thread, IRCC has no perfect timing for anyone, it all goes from 1 day to weeks/months, You just have to be patience, if you haven't crossed the 12 month mark, just wait. Once you cross it and haven't heard anything, try calling them. Patience is...

We have SA on ECAS but not letter. Who knows how they work. Did you inquire your notes?

Do you have an idea what further assessment they're doing? Do you already have SA, AIP at least? I was excited when I was seeing everyone getting their DM on time, now all I see is delays haha
