Hi everyone, As a protected person, can I apply for PR application online or it should be sent just by mail?? I did not find anything in the website about online apllication for protected persons.

I am sorry to hear that. Actually, I was expected you to get a positive decision! But you have the chance of appeal. So, don't give up. You will get a positive decision.

I am in Montreal. I just remember her first name was Sara. The agent called me back this afternoon and said she did a follow-up with the member and the member has not made a decision yet. She said the average waiting time is about 45 days.

I called an agent today and still no new news on my file after 3 months and a week!!! She said she would send an email to the member for a follow-up! I am really frustrated. Is there a max waiting time to get the notice?!

update, I applied for my 15-year old son's work permit and his permit has been issued and is valid for 2 years.

We are waiting for NOD so right now his status is an asylum seeker and he does not have a study permit because he is under 18.

I have a child who is 15 . He wants to to work during this summer. Is he eligible to get a work permit? Anybody has experience with this?
