You may be asked for FP but that should not be a obstacle its just an additional step

I had my cousin in similar situation, he got his citizenship without any issues even during the peace bond period, So you should be good.

If you have all the documentation with you, can can apply for a US passport in US Embassy/Consulate in Canada, you don't need to go to US for that

When did you receive the test invite? Usually the ECAS gets updated overnight typically the night when you receive the email. Check after day or two, it would be reflected
