How can u cross border without passport ? They asked bunch of questions like tracking number for package ,when was cc charged, why u need passport urgently, if it's for travel then date and countries you will be visiting

I sent from US on 17may received on 18may and cc charged 2days later. File not even In system yet

I finally got hold of someone on the call Agent told me charge on the cc is first step when we open your file. Doesn't mean your file is in system and we have started processing it

For My husband we did " none of the above" last month.

I applied from Canada as I am Pr of canada.

I can answer #2. Pre covid my nexus took around 8 months to be approved. Right now canada has again shut down nexus interviews I received an email two days ago. So now I am not sure what's the eta.

Just want to add that they understand interviews are far apart from the time we fill out the ds160 form due to Covid. They will update it for you. My husband also did landing this time and we got his copy details updated /took it along so they can see it on the spot.

My daughter was born in Usa in sept 2021. I applied for her pR today and I will be citizen soon. So after she gets her PR approved and I get my Canadian passport , her physical presence days are waived off ,right ? And I can apply for her citizenship directly??

I gave my test on 14th Dec 21 still the portal is showing " waiting on you to complete the test ". Prohibitions ,language and physical presence still "in progress ".

Any change in life situation can be updated at the consulate at the interview. Like my address and birth of child I got it updated when they verify your status in canada and other documents before you see the interviewer. Done this at ottawa consulate 23rd Nov 2021
