I landed on March 5, still waiting for PR Card. Meanwhile, my COPR document has expired. Can anybody tell me if there is any impact because of that?

Yes, they will mark your COPR number as document number and will extend the validity of OHIP card.

Raised 3 web forms.. every time got generic response that they are working on my application. My wife landed on 9 June, her card is already approved and was mailed couple of days back.

No, how to do that? I had provided my address at the time of landing as I am inland applicant and already had Canadian address.

The call centre guy just told me that SIN applications cannot be processed in offices via appointment. The only option we have now is to apply online. Please keep us posted how your visit to Service Canada goes.

My wife got her SIN yesterday in mail, but it's a mess. The SIN came with her father's name.. LOL... We were pretty sure that we filled the online form correctly, even the supporting docs are in her name. We are trying to contact the call centre since morning but no luck. Anyone else faced...
