right but entrance scholarship you don't have to do anything you are automatically selected on the basis of your academics. other scholarships you have to apply seperately.

does getting scholarship increases your chances of visa? I got two scholarships of 1000 and 500 per semester for 4 years. so does that increase my chances of getting the visa?

look there is no restriction in applying anyone can apply. but you need to be sure that you will get it right. the things they look for is if you can support yourself through out your study permit period, that you are a genuine student, you have taken the right course, you will not be a threat...

oh so you don't have strong ties with the uk.. what country are u from and can u show strong ties from ur home ccountry like property, bank statements and family?

heyyy sorry ill have to research about that but apply asap! dont wait apply on monday as it can take time... if u already have a student visa then i dont think medical would be required but dont think of going there with this visa..

Don't resign yet. just get an educational leave letter! the stronger ur ties to Philippines the stronger r ur chances of getting the visa. Good Luck!

there is nothing on the website regarding how long it takes for the medical and for the processing..in total it takes 10 weeks is what he cic says. but you can expect your visa anytime from the 4th week to the 16th week. if your file or medical has any complications then it can take a lot longer...

I know I have shortage of time. But I have faith and if i deserve the visa i will get it no matter what. so those of you who worry about when will your visa come, be confident and never lose hope you will get it if you are suppose to. I will let you guys know when i submit my passport!

I just got my acceptance from University of Windsor. I will be submitting my family coming friday on November 11, 2011 to CHC ISL. I hope I will not be considered too late and my files comes back on time.
