    My understanding is that when you have received your aip the work permit will not be processed because you are becoming permanent residence very soon and you don't need work permit anymore it's happen to me as well I apply it in April 2023 till now I did not receive it and now I became pr holder...

    That is how did now samething happen to me they tell you to pay 85$ and send the payment receipt after some weeks they will send you biometrics instruction to tell it to service canada to do your biometrics.
