It’s obvious there’s no uniformity in their processing. They asked me to do medical in April which I did. I haven’t heard from them ever since apart from, “medical results have been received” in my eCAS. No biometrics instruction letter either even though I have an active biometric record from a...

People actually have different experiences with the sequence of requests from IRCC. Therefore, you can only get ideas here. Everybody’s has a different experience. Concerning the Medical Institutions, do both use the same email? You can quickly send a Webform to the Visa Office about this anomaly.

I think it’s time your spouse besieged his/her MP for intervention. Your spouse can also order GCMS notes to ascertain, in detail, what is actually going on since you have already gone beyond the processing time.

The spouse of most of the people here already got PR. Some since 2021. Only IRCC can explain what is going on.

I am just surprised at the speed of processing; 2 months for the principal applicant and 9 months for the dependent outside Canada. This must be a record. We have dependents here waiting for 4 years and counting. Is there something special/different about this application that we need to know?

Congratulations! I wish you all the best in Canada. 1. Please, do you have a family in Canada? 2. If you do, are they protected person(s)? 3. When did your family apply for PR. 4. When did they receive PR? Thank you.

You’re left with no choice. Maybe some will get it in less than the normal processing time of 48 months. It has even increased to 50 months as we speak.

Unfortunately, family sponsorship is not for this category of applicants. Let me explain: if you were already married at the time of filing your claim, you MUST include your spouse in the application unless you don’t intend for him/her to join you EVER. You can only resort to family sponsorship...

There’s always an auto response when you transmit something through the webform. You can also check your spam mail for this response if you successfully transmitted. Of course, the GCKey account can also be used to transmit documents to IRCC.

It will not upload like that. Let the combination of the two PDF files not be more than 3.5mb. It could be 1.8mb & 1.7mb or 1.9mb & 1.6mb. I have submitted like this and it uploaded. Good luck if you’re able to upload 3.5mb at once.
