Have you applied for PR or have you gotten your PR?

Your country, your region, the person handling your file etc. verification of documents and response from some government agencies takes longer than necessary in some countries. Locating an address in India may be more difficult than locating one in The Netherlands for example.

This question is a bit ambiguous. Is it for a protected person, dependent of a protected person or for just anyone with immigration intentions? One way to expedite PR is to apply through Express Entry or by investment in Canada. It’s faster this way all things being equal.

The processing time on the IRCC website presently stands at 51 months for overseas dependents of protected persons. This is just a guide because some get it way before, some before and some after. Everything depends.

I don’t think there’s a set general rule for everybody. Sometimes it may depend on the visa office. I got pre-arrival in April and PPR this August.

About 4 to 5 weeks from when the passport gets to the High Commission in Accra. Sometimes up to 6 weeks.

Use the option that is available to you and submit your application. The earlier the better. The important thing is for them to process it. I submitted mine through the webform and uploaded documents of over 70 pages including pictures. My application is in the final stages as I now have PPR.

I wonder why you’re worried about that. The important thing is that you have Medical Instructions. Print it out and make necessary arrangements to do the medicals. If they don’t update on eCAS, they will update your file with them.

That’s because they aren’t qualified for family sponsorship.
