Yes, same situation here, The file is with the Vancouver Office, applied Nov 2021, The Pre-Arrival letter was received last year September 2022, but still NO news. Contacted the local MP, no result.

If I am not mistaken, they do not ask for a reason. I applied for an extension for my parents' visitor visa online for One Year, they took 6 months to reply, but the good thing is they gave a One-year extension exclusive of 6 month period (18 months in total).

Same in my parent's GCkey, the first Medical passed date was changed to another date and now the whole thing is out.

Same here, no update on my parent's file, applied Nov 2021, and got a pre-arrival letter in Sep 2022, almost a year now, and NO news at all. The processing office is in Vancouver. Tried local MP also, but they are just a time waster.

I submitted the application on 12th Nov 2021, and received Pre-Arrival Letter on 21st September 2022, since then Total silence. I did go to the Local MP office for inquiring, and they said the same thing, wait till your processing time is exceeded (24 months in this case).

Thanks for the heads-up. My parents' medical was done last year in August 2022, but on Portal it says Medical Passed on 3rd March 2023. I guess I won't have to re-do my parents' Medical again till it expires next year in March 2023, am I right ?

My parents are already in Canada, my father received Medical Surveillance Letter, do you know how to get the Form ?

Only when IRCC ask you to submit.

In my case, it was showing PROVIDED once I uploaded the PCC, later after a few days it was showing RECEIVED.

Yes, most likely it meant for point of entry. My parents are already here in Canada on a visitor visa, and IRCC knows that. So Passport request is not applicable in this case I guess.
