Applied for SC on Nov 21st BLS Ottawa, it was walk in application. No updates so far, still under review. When can I expect an update on my application?

I doubt they would entertain your request, they usually don’t do that. I have had this experience in the past and saw something similar happening with a guy during my last visit to BLS. Still there is no harm, you never know you might get lucky. Side question- When did you apply for SC? Mind...

I did apply for a 5 year visa for my kid just before the suspension of services but unfortunately it could not be processed. However the point is I was able to apply and paid a fees of about $120

No problem. I was able to do it for my wife at Ottawa office

I am going to India for indefinite period, and I believe there should be a way to apply for OCI in India. I am trying to figure out how to do that if you cant do that on a tourist visa.

I have already submitted application for passport surrender but will have to travell to India in the next few days for indefinite period. I am planning to apply for OcI while in India but on the website it says one cannot apply for OcI while on tourist visa. Does that mean evisa is not an option...
