I received the P1 Sept. 17th. I don't see an update on a decision in mine either. My background check is still showing 'In Progress'. I am in Canada on an extended visitors visa and applied for the family/spouse sponsor PR as well. I applied in December 2023 and was asked to do the medical exam in March 2024. I would not worry. I would wait. If they need anything from you, they will let you know.
