My delivery as you see below was 7 August. I only have a temporary file. Nothing else no AOR :( I thought they would open applications as they receive them but i do not think that is the case

i rang them up this morning and they gave me a temporary file number. Thank you very much for your message. It really helped :) the agent even said it can take upto 7mnths to get an AOR! ouch.. i hope in 1 year they still complete the application processing. Im happy they have the application.

Thanks so much for the update. I would definitely ring them up and see. only issue is I have applied through lawyer so do not know if they can help as I do not have an application number, i just have receipt number of the payment i made. I will for sure try though. Thanks a lot.

has anyone had experience receiving AOR after 3months. Its going to be 4 months and I am still worried as no AOR. I have applied through agent though.

Honestly from what I have read and spoken to people, it is not advisable to leave. You can if needed but not for more than 2 weeks. but still not recommended.

IRCC received my application on August 7th 2020. Still waiting for AOR.. fingers crossed.

Hello everyone, was reading some posts here and i do have a question. could anyone recommend any immigration lawyer as I need to sponsor my husband. also i understand the AOR comes first and then you can apply to CIC?
