That was quick, mate, I checked the processing time for this week on the IRCC website, and it showed 149 days for an extension application they processed on Feb 7th. Can you confirm when did you receive the approval? Hopefully, they might update this new timeline next week.

It would help if you had a valid TRV to leave Canada and return. I'd suggest getting your PGWP and then applying for TRV based on the long-term date for your PGWP. I applied for my SP extension on Feb 1st, and the eligibility review started the next day. I'm assuming it was automated. A lot of PGWP applicants I know who applied around this time also had their eligibility review started the next day.

That's strange; the UCI number should remain the same if you use the same account unless there is some error. The application number changes every time you make a new application but is linked with the parent UCI number. If I were you, I'd explain the error to IRCC via the webform.

Although you can apply for PGWP on a maintained status, it is discouraged as it will prevent you from working until you receive final approval for your PGWP. Your best would be to wait for Study Permit extension approval.
