May 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Yeah I have the IME number. It's just that the clinic didn't give anything to my wife. I mean I could tell this clinic was just milking the system and those geezers were too cheap to even print something off. My guess is the IME number and visit details will be sufficient, but I might call...

Don't send anything unless you're asked. You'll just delay the process.

Yup. Haven't been able to get the tracker to work at all. When I call everything is in order and they can see everything.

All fees needs to pay again if PR application returned due incomplete ?

Update: for PR application. You pay the difference, fill out the webform and send it to them. That's it. Nothing else to do. Really an annoying process.

    Singapore COC processing time

For a country that calls itself a digital nation this is a totally ridiculous process. Philippines did it in two days and sent a PDF.

Extension first or PR application first?

So do the PR application first, then the extension. That make sense.

Extension first or PR application first?

Wife on TRV. Visit expires April 25. PR documents for inland sponsorship are ready to be submitted. I’m a Canadian Citizen by birth. Should I apply for the extension first or submit the PR documents first?

Inland Spousal PR application - baby born before AIP

It just makes sense to drive over to the US. It costs the same in terms of delivery and the child will end up with both citizenships, especially since we would be paying anyways. Anyways, I managed to get some time with my MP so will raise the fairness issue there.

Inland Spousal PR application - baby born before AIP

Re: #3 This is insane. So a child born to a Canadian father on Canadian soil is basically forced to be born into debt as opposed to let’s say people brought in on Ukrainian or Palestinian visa programs who would qualify for health coverage immediately. What’s even more interesting is that...

Inland Spousal PR application - baby born before AIP

Hi there, just want to understand a few questions. 1. the baby would be a Canadian citizen. 2. The PR application would need to be updated to list the dependent 3. As I understand there are basically no healthcare options if the person can’t qualify for OHIP via OWP here and the pregnancy...

Oh you're absolutely correct. Thank you for being so kind and helping. One last question, What if the processing of the extension takes longer than the expiration date of the 6 month stay?

Spouse already in Canada. What order should we do things

In reality, once the PR application is submitted, we should apply for the visitor visa extension at least a month before the expiry date. Is that correct?

Spouse already in Canada. What order should we do things

Hi, My wife has a V-1, 10 year, multiple entry, FPC. I'm a Canadian Citizen (by birth), gainfully employed well above income thresholds. As of now she has been in Canada for 3 months. Her PR application is straightforward and I have all the documents. My question Is on the order of things I...
