Hello there can you tell me where can I check this other status saying certificate been printed?

Can we chose slot for Visa or passport instead of OCI and still can apply OCI at BLS, anyone had any bad experience with that? I know its not good idea but I cant wait till April for OCI application

Do you mean each day they will open up some walkin appointments and we need to book around that 8.20am for same day? or do we need to book before? For OCI I dont see any slots till March 2022,One the spot booking might help me.

Small correction it took 11days in total for me. I would recommend walkin. 1. can be assured they got all documents required 2. Quicker than postal based on people experience. Note: walkin wont be that easy either as you have time constraint take pain of walkin.

Sorry, out if my own experience it took 14days including weekend to receive entry visa on Canadian passport. Not sure if there is any express service you might be referring to which gives passport in 5-7 days. Dont go with assumptions. If you have fact also share with us.

The status never said approved all along. Had to wait until I received mail to know it is approved and visa stamp on passport.

Even I want to know answer for this question. If you find out from any other means please let us know.

No no I gave the timeline only for entry visa. You can see on my thread. My surrender passport is still processing at consulate. I wont expect this soon either

Sure. Walkin applied on 6th dec Intransit to bls on 13th Dec Ready to dispatch 14th Dec. Hopefully I will have in my mailbox tomorrow.

i guess i would answer my own question. In one week I got status update as in transit from consulate to BLS. May be in next 2days I will have my Canada passport back. Hoping its positive results.

What is the process time frame for entry visa. Applied bls Scarborough. Please let me know the experience.

In toronto office I requested if I can pick up in person the entry visa and surrender certificate once they arrive. The agent said No it will be always via post and they take money for sending mail. She told it is like that all the time. If someone went for pick up let is know so that I can see...

Thats so weird, how does same system have different rules based on location. Good part is some of us are getting benefited but thats so baised decision on their part. I wldnt raise it anywhere as atleast some of them are getting with less pain.

I went to scarborough the agents inside were very nice and helpful. Not rude and willing to help as per the rules and guidelines. Just the security did bit of drama for walkin people so that everyone will go with appt.

Yes I did go to Scarborough/Toronto office. As I was aware they stopped taking together I didnt took OCI application. People who came for OCI w/o surrender certificate they didnt took it. They were polite and good and advised some are taking unknowingly and applications are coming back. Not sure...

Anyone can update the processing time for passport surrender? Does it take 15bsd or 30?

FYI, I went today and they said no for OCI submission along with Surrender.
