Hello everyone, called RCMP this morning and the agent confirmed that my FP reaults were mailed to my Primary VO, Vancouver, on Sep 24th. I got FP request from Vancouver on Sep 18, gave FP to RCMP same day. Then I called IRCC, agent said no FP info received yet and in regards to LPP, nothing...

When did you submit your FP? And did u submit directly to RCMP?

Hey @hssrp and @maverick1982, a completely unrelated question but I can’t think of a better person to ask about this. My wife’s passport came today with the US visa in it. Can we go across border as we both have day off today? Like my question is can we travel on the same day which we received...

And I think it should not matter as they will calculate days untill the date of application and in terms of Interview or Oath, we can most probably travel back from US without any delays. And I guess if we leave and come back same day, it is not even deducted from our physical presence.

Yes, it was my first violation ticket and it was an honest mistake. I disputed and court asked if I had any other country’s license on me and I said No, so i paid the ticket. I renewed license next day as I did not have any suspensions or pending fines.

Hey @hssrp, @maverick1982 , traffic violation won’t be an issue right? I have one expired license ticket for which I was pulled over by RCMP Surrey which I paid. I had a speeding by VPD which was later dismissed in court.

So if this all is still going to take another 5-6 weeks before Oath, then I wouldn’t have enough time to surrender my current citizenship before I travel. Do you think I can start my surrendering process and just take e-visa and travel while that is still happening?

When did you apply? When u took test and when was it marked complete?

Yes, no FP request yet but 2 ghost updates before test. Aug 6 and Aug 8

Hey @hssrp , @maverick1982 just spoke with the agent (same agent from last week…lol). She said all good nothing missing and regarding BG, Security is completed and Criminality is under process. LPP still not started.

Hello @hssrp, I have a call scheduled with IRCC in next 20-25 mins. Apart from these two BG questions, is there anything else I can ask them to predict my case status and completion time?
