Montreal Portal 2 Delay - Track Timelines Here!!!

I've called IRCC twice trying to get the confirmation they received my p1 response. They told me they "can not confirm or deny it". So, I guess they don't send anything to the applicants.

Means you send the reply for P1 email to all visa offices (or send P1 reply proactively). I don't know if it actually works, but some claims they got P2 email after they send KAI

I called IRCC and got nothing helpful. They "can not confirm or deny they received my P1 reply" and they "are not able to provide any timelines". And I had no luck submitting webform so far. It feels like they have a boilerplate response for all my questions. I don't understand the reason why...

We're on the same boat. I've got P1 email on Sep 27 and the next day they assigned COPR number and expiry date. I haven't received P2 though. And IRCC "can no confirm or deny they received my P1 reply" and they "are not able to provide any timelines". This is sooo frustrating, I'm desperate and...

Portal 2 to eCopr timeline 2024

Oh friends! This is sooo frustrating! And completely against logic. I understand IRCC is short in resources and ask applicants to patiently wait for next steps. And at the same time they make many applicants wait for months to finish formal and simple procedures (P1, P2, eCOPR) that require...

urgent - refugee returned home country. need your help

Ok, I assumed the officer was a CBSA agent as I was crossing the Canadian border, but I'm not 100% sure. If you say I shouldn’t had met them in an airport, I probably hadn't. It might have been someone from IRCC or someone else, whoever issues work permits at the port of entry. It definitely was...

urgent - refugee returned home country. need your help

I am far beyond of any refugee programs and the details related. And I'm not a VIP member either. But I can add my 5 cents here. The time when I first entered Canada (back in March 2023) and was waited in the line for WP and other proper docs to be issues I was a witness of a terrible...

    Driving

I'm not sure if you need a Canadian driving license initially, but later, after couple of months you must exchange yours to Canadian. The rules how and when newcomer can exchange the license differs, most people have to pass driving test in city/highway/city+highway. I recommend to bring...

Travel to USA without PR card

No, it's just for a weekend and if I won't get eCOPR before leaving I probably should cancel the trip. I would rather be on the safe side then getting questioned by CBSA :) I should be able to get eCOPR by the end of Nov, not sure about getting PR card though. Their timeline now around 25 days...

Tracker didn't work for me when my application was in process, so I don't know how Background and Eligibility change there over the time. I thought both statuses got changed at the same time or in a short timeframe when they send application to final decision. At least it's how it was for my...

    <<<<<<June 2024 AOR>>>>

Hi! I see the same for my application in the tracker. I have got a final decision and P1 email, and I see COPR details in the tracker for both me and my dependent. It looks like all the necessary checks were done. So for me both Background and Eligibility have "Completed" status and for my...

Travel to USA without PR card

Hi friends! I am in Canada right now, holding an open WP. I also have a multi-entry visa in my passport. Several months ago I submitted EE application and I am about to get a PR status (received P1 email on Sep 27). I know that at some point IRCC will cancel my visa due to a change in my status...

GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Hi everyone! Does anybody knows if the background check for visitor visa differs from background check for PR? Do they perform the same checks as they did for visitor visa or add additional screening steps? Does anyone have any idea if they may reuse previous BG heck results? Let me describe my...
