However, not all of them will come to Canada. But a lot of them apply CUAET just in case. It's sad, coz this is our waiting time.

Me too... I am a long-haul truck driver and I asked an officer on the Canada border last week about this situation. She told me just wait for it, when my current permit will be expired (31 Dec 2022) they will send the new one automatically by mail.

Hi, try through the French line( I do it every time successfully) 888-242-2100, then 1, 2,3,2,2,0. And in 3-10 attempts you will be transferred to real agent line —the waiting time for answers is around 40 minutes. They speak English very good :)

31 Dec 2022( It is OPW that was got instead WP extension). Also, I received a letter from IRCC that it will be extended automatically when it expires. The reason (as they mentioned in this letter) is that it can take longer to receive a decision for my TR to PR than my OPW expires.

Hi, Alexa, I am not sure what time it will take (I applied on 29 Jun 2021, AOR 1 June 2022) but in my latest CBSA report, I see information that my security has not started, and the Due Date is 05/20/2023. Perhaps, this date can indicate the end of reviewing security, or they made this notice...
