No, I have fingerprint request in both PR application and now in Citizenship application.

The document means all its contents. When you have scanned page it’s called a document (one document including all its contents).

You need to apply and get a letter from them asking you to submit Canadian Citizenship proof. Use that letter to apply for UP.

I caught up in that PR. 2 years to get medical exam and total 5 years to get PR done.

I submitted my fp June 29, uploaded as received on my tracker on July 01. On july 21 they change my tracker as “we are working on your application.” And my BG still in process all the time. I don’t know when it will be charge to completed .

I submitted my FP July 01. I got the same message on July 05. (Fingerprint received). In July 21, update that “we are working on your application.” What I understand that the first is just fp received. Then on July, the sent it for background check. The waiting for clearance response results.

The other factor is what is the attachment size? I believe there’s a limit. If your attachment (above limit maybe 5Mb) it will not received. Typically in important attachments, I send to myself bcc to see at least it had been uploaded.

Not exactly correct or not explained correctly. Any PR can apply for citizenship as they meet residency requirements in the past 5 years no matter how old PR. Even your pr is 20 years old and you apply now , it okay. No hurry to apply for citizenship.

That is very bad, I don’t understand how’s this COVID-19 pandemic excuse work. Kitchener now is in stage 2 moving to stage 3 tomorrow I believe. Hope they can cover up quickly.
