Just keep it like it was in your previous application, if you are not claiming points, they never gonna ask about it. I did the same and got my PR.

Average used to be around 3-4 months but now it will be around 5 months. But there a lot of factors to be considered, including your country of birth, travel/work history and so on. I myself got my PPR after almost 11 months of AOR though I was under CEC.

In my opinion, if they haven't sent a notice yet.. they are fine with that. Also depends how much and how long over time you worked. My friend once worked overtime and his SIN got revoked for like 6 months but everything else went fine.

I dropped a SUMMER and had no issue in getting PGWP. Just tell the supervisor you are not getting the courses of your choice and they will print a letter for you. However, while applying for PGWP no one even asked for that letter. Dropping a summer is no issue. I was a Master's student.

It may be an issue as you can't re-enter Canada until you have your PR card unless you have got a temporary visa.

Yes IMM5257 is the correct form. In normal circumstances it is not allowed to get your passport stamped elsewhere. However as someone mentioned here earlier, they do allow it for exceptional case. You must e-mail them to know about your case.
