Is this course a new course? If so, you will have to take but sometimes they exempt ielts if your prerequisite is done in canada.

Hi, No, you dont have to. Ielts is needed for the admission process. once you get the admission it will be valid throughout your program. Hope this helps

Hi, This is the quote from the ircc website, based on this wp holders don't qualify to invite? immediate family members with written authorization from IRCC to reunite with a temporary resident of Canada (see Uniting with immediate family members for more information)

So is it better to get the written authorization first and if it is approved then apply?

Thank you for your prompt reply. They got refused for trv. I didnt submit any written authorization as the website says it will be processed with the visa if they satisfied purpose is essential travel.

This is the first time we applied and got refused. But if it is not essential travel, chances are high to get refused again?

I cant exactly remember if I mentioned that or not. If I am under PR, this can be an essential travel inviting foreign nationals (parents)
