    A consultant told me that as long it isn't contagious / risk to the public and not going to cost the government a lot to treat, you're on the safe side. I asked about diabetes and he said it's OK, he even knows HIV cases got approved (kinda not believing that).

    Really depends on the consequences of the diabetes mainly vascular disease and kidney function. Very high insulin dosages also could be an issue because of cost.
