Why would they lie to you on the phone? I would be gutted if they had lied to me today. I have so much riding on this visa coming through in time!

I'm not sure where my visa office is. I would assume that it's London as I am in the U.K., but my BG check went into progress at a late time in the day which made me think Ottawa. I'm not sure, but I will only celebrate when the email comes. I hope they didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear.

UPDATE I managed to get through to a very helpful man in the call centre TODAY. He told me that my application was approved yesterday - should I uncork the champagne bottle just now or do I wait for the passport request email? :D

I'm officially 6 months today.

That is the number I have tried. I get the message "all of our agents are busy right now, please try again later," and then it hangs up. Is London generally a slow visa office?

I am FSW Outland. I haven't ordered my GCMS notes yet, I've only looked at one website that charges $40!
