Want help to write a good SOP for the study visa.....!!

They assume most applicants for business diplomas have no intent to return to their home countries. Be explicit about why studying in Canada is relevant to your job prospects back there. Why can't you stay home to study?

Also in this case you'd need a bank statement showing financial stability.

SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

If you're wife is a citizen and you have complete documentation you can apply from Pakistan as well. However, you'll have to give them an intent to return , stating why you want to return after all these years. Could be an admission for further studies or a job or something like that.

    STudy VISA along with PR

You are allowed to apply for a study permit with an active EE profile. The requirement to show ties to your home county and intent to return there if you do not get PR remains.

    TRV for inland sponsorship?

If your wife needed a visa before covid, she will still need one and needs to apply in advance and receive visa before going to Canada. (The 'exemption' is that a regular TRV visa holder - without immediate family in Canada - would not be allowed to travel under covid rules at all). TRV...

Business Administration in Holland College, PEI

Hi Primaprime, Thank you for your reply. Is the reason that the course offered is practical skills oriented and more affordable compared to other colleges and universities not a good enough reason? I am not getting such a course even in India at such affordable fee. And this Holland College is...

Business Administration in Holland College, PEI

The answer to the first two questions is both yes. It would be better to go for a master's degree at a public university. Although you can explain that you have every intent to return to India, they will still assume anyone applying for a college course at your age is an aspiring PR. They will...

    Related to study permit

You can always apply to programs in Canada. Can you explain why doing one will improve your career prospects in India? Many diploma applicants are refused because it's assumed they have no intent to return home.

    Quarantine plan

No, I just included it as part of our 'cover letter' regarding intent to return to demonstrate we have thought about it and we have people who will assist us, but as I say what things look like in a year or two for requirements, who knows? We will just provide further information if asked.

ALL SPOUSE APPEAL CASES COME HERE AND JOIN US PLZ

Have you applied and been turned down? What does this have to do with appeals? There are multiple threads on how to show intent to return to Canada.

Seeking advice for study permit extension

Hello all, I am about to graduate with a master's degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada. This degree that I undertook typically takes 2 years to complete. I was fairly successful in my master's (3.9 GPA, 5 publications, including an award) and wanted to further advance my career by...

    Dual Intent coming from USA

There's going to be no clear answer to your question you can get in advance. It will be up to CBSA when you arrive at the border. Basically a dice roll. We recently had someone here in your exact situation try this (two weeks ago?) and the American was denied entry into Canada because CBSA...

    Dual Intent coming from USA

Hey guys, looking for any advice and insights. My wife and I are currently living in the US and we submitted her OUTLAND application at the end of April 2020. I am a Canadian citizen/US permanent resident, she is an American citizen. We've been married for nearly 4 years, and to my knowledge...

Permanently leaving Canada just after submitting my citizenship application

How these things go can vary widely from one person to another. The short answer is that there is no prohibition against living abroad, let alone traveling abroad. BUT there are RISKS which tend to loom significantly larger for the applicant abroad than one who remains living in Canada. Thus...

Suggestions for Study Programs and Colleges in Canada

If you already have a master's, you need to explain why a further technical course will improve your job prospects in India. You also need to show ties and intent to return there after your studies, which will be difficult if you've been living in the US. They will suspect your intent is to...

    Outland sponsorship question

I am basing on what others have said here before, that since it is an outland app and a citizen is not required to be in Canada to apply, they do not need to withdraw. Not all material changes change the substance of the application - as long as the legal content remains the same. Note, for...

    Outland sponsorship question

The idea is that you will live with your spouse in Morocco, right? From that, I interpret you want to move there to be with them until application is approved. I would read that as a material change to your application for which you would have to inform IRCC. The fact that you will hold a...

    Outland sponsorship question

I do not believe you would need to withdraw and re-apply. You definitely should advise of change of address. It's perhaps unlikely they would question your intent to return given processing times and covid - but they could. This is why it may be useful/helpful to retain your residential ties...
