It says: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. But it has said that for as long as I can remember, maybe even the entire time.

You could try if you really wanted, might be a case of quoting your receipt number. You can also login to the payment system here (https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/ols/login.do?mngRdr=true) with the details you used when paying to check your payment history, though it doesn't give you a breakdown of...

July 2020, Inland Spousal PR Applications

Morning. $1135 would add up to the correct amount (including biometrics) if you haven't also applied for the open work permit. I did apply for the open work permit and mine totalled $1390.

If you've paid the fees then you're all good. Individual above seems rather sure that it doesn't imply we have passed the completeness check, so I guess that means the wait for AOR continues...

    OHIP Eligibility

Hey. Just been shot down on Facebook by some people who know better than me - apparently this is in fact an AIP letter rather than AOR. I can't understand why the first sentence of AIP would be "This letter acknowledges receipt of your application for permanent residence in Canada" but hey-ho.

    OHIP Eligibility

[Edited for clarity] Hi all Just seen someone's Facebook post who recently received their AOR. This is the first time I've actually seen one, and in the first paragraph of the letter, the wording was as such: "This letter acknowledges receipt of your application for permanent residence in...
