Yes that is what I am planning on doing. At the border tell the officer that I am there to flag pole with no intentions of going into the US. Guess that should be ok and no US visa is needed for that.

Please let me know how it goes. I am planning on going this Saturday. I was all set until someone mentioned that you can't go unless you have a valid US visa and put a doubt in my mind.

OMG! Can't believe this! But I am glad to hear you got your passport back. You would think at this point you shouldn't have any issues...but like they say its never over until its over. Hope all goes well with landing. Can I ask where you are planning to do the landing?
