I have the same message on my CIC account. It appears when 90 days have passed. I have Sept 27th AoR. In my case even BGC hasn't begun as per the account. Lets keep our hopes alive.

Quite many of September applicants are waiting. I haven't even seen the Background check beginning till date.

@Jesuslovesyou my timeline is exactly same as yours. My AoR is 27th Sept, MEP 27th Oct, and BG check yet to start. No update since Oct 27th. I applied for gcms notes on 26th Dec (on 90th day since AoR). Waiting for gcms to get an update. I inquired through webform and received a standard reply...

They must have separate division to assess applications which are pending for decision for long.

You can order gcms notes, that would give you an elaborate status.

I crossed 90 days mark on 26th Dec 2018. But nothing has changed ever since I passed Med Exam and update - no additional document required on 27th Oct 2018.

Its their festive season that's why the delay....
