Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

Well, this is a worry, then. Yes, she's been invited under CEC, but I believe for CEC she needs 1-year (12 months) of canadian work experience, which she was a week shy of when her profile was submitted (3 days ago). This, despite the fact that no matter how she defined her canadian work...

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

Oh, I see what you mean. Choosing her primary noc code. Yes, YYYY is the one that she has at least one year of continuous foreign work in. But right now she's working in a different noc code (XXXX, in the example), and she chose that also because it's related to her study (YYYY wasn't). But...

I don't think so. I don't understand this whole NOC thing, but it's the NOC number determined by the government? If so, how can you "change" your NOC code? You worked as a civil engineer, for example, so you'll have a determined NOC code. How do you "change" that? Anyways, maybe it's too late...

Re: Bridging visa after un for 57th draw Also, do you know how long the BOWP takes to process/issue?

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

It is. Technically, it's a masters of Architecture (5-year program) in a European country. But the equivalency here is not a masters, which is what screwed her plans to begin with (because she thought she had a masters degree and therefore enough points for the EE). The first agency gave the...

Bridging visa after EE 57th draw

well, that makes sense. At least they've put in a deterrent. That's good to hear! And submitting the eARP and applying for BOWP... No tricks in it, are there? Just some long forms and applications that have to be filled out? There's no process or requirement that may contribute to delaying the...

Bridging visa after EE 57th draw

Re: Bridging visa after un for 57th draw oh, that's great to hear. But then can't people just lie when they submit their profiles for EE, then when they've made the draw submit their eARP and apply for BOWP and have an implied status knowing full well at some point in the future (probably 3-6...

Bridging visa after EE 57th draw

So the express entry draw was done today and my gf has enough points (499). But her working holiday visa will expire in 4 days. I thought she could immediately apply and receive the bridge for her visa, but apparently it takes a while. I've found the following resources but not sure what to make...

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

Sorry, some misunderstanding between the two of us. Here's her work experience: Outside of Canada: * 2014/4 - 2014/8: NOC B (xxxx) * 2014/11 - 2015/12: NOC B (yyyy) In Canada: * 2016/4 - 2016/10: NOC B (zzzz) * 2016/11 - Current: NOC B (xxxx) xxxx, yyyy, and zzzz are different NOC codes.

I don't see a way of reviewing that without clicking on "update form", which she doesn't want to do. But for sure 1 year of fsw. And both are noc B, but different noc codes.

like someone else said, maybe the system only allows one program at a time? And right now it's allocating her to CEC?

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

lol. I am asking for my gf. This has nothing to do with me. Just didn't want to explain the whole thing again. It's just one application for her. I'm out of it (I'm a Canadian citizen). The one year of foreign work is continuous, yes.

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

One year of foreign work experience, I do have. One year of Canadian work experience, I'm a week shy.

Why federal skilled worker not met, but CEC met?

employment started end if March. I changed employers in October without any interruption in between. So technically, I'm a week shy of one year, which is why I wanted to be in the federal skilled worker and not in CEC. And yes, job bank is active.
