I am a permanent resident of Canada and had a baby outside Canada in India this year. Due to pandemic and flight restriction we couldn’t fly back to Canada for delivery. How should I now travel back to Canada with the new born - do I apply for visitor visa? How easy is to sponsor my kid for PR now..

Can the spouse not travel on valid tourist visa ?

Hi, Canada has stopped all flights to and from India as per my understanding. Does anybody know if a PR can travel currently to Canada ? Would Canada allow the husband to travel with pregnant wife who holds a PR?

Hey, does anyone know how long does it take to get the date for doing registered marriage in Canada post filling the application form? I heard that in Montreal it can take upto 2 months..does the time period for getting the date differ from one province to another province ? Appreciate response

Is there any exit immigration in Canada one is leaving the country ? Do they stamp the passport for exit ?

When the PR card comes to local address for delivery, is it left in mailbox or it has to be hand collected by someone? If no one is at home when the delivery person arrives then what happens to the card?

my flight is landing at night, would I be able to apply for SIN card at airport in that case ? If am unable to then what’s the procedure to do it outside airport and how long does it take ?

Is it mandatory to land in Toronto if the COPR letter mentions Toronto? What if I land in Hallifax instead , would I be able to complete all PR formalities at that airport ?

is it ok to land in Toronto and provide Halifax address for PR card and other paper work? Would it cause any problem if I provide a different province Address ? Not sure about rules and regulations there...any advise would help
