YES. Under the immigration act.its Like any other fraud..ofc.If tried and convicted .plus barred from Canada..they have become more serious about marriage fraud..check it out yourself

Doesnt immigration fraud carry a jail sentence?

I doubt you will get visitor visa because CIC might see it as you are unlikely to return home...also only Citizen and PR are allowed to sponsor..if you do come be prepared to show plenty of evidenc

Did anyone else hear that now employers have to prove that no citizen can do a job before they give it to a student holding a pgwp..before they did not.

I dont know why CIC only gave me 1yr when i did 2yrs and graduated with the 2yrs.

I found a job that would take me with only the 2year of the 3yr advanced program.so i took the pgwp..ofc that job didnt work out

Anyone on here been sucessful going this route with the closed wp?

But if i have the post graduate work permit the employer DOES NOT have to show that no canadian resident can fill the job??
