Yep, I studied in Australia for about a year back in 1995, went back home, then moved from the Philippines to the US - so I do know what it's like to move. My work visa is still valid here (until next year) but in the off-chance I don't get a renewal/extension I'm looking at other options now...

I am almost in the same situation as you, though I have not applied for PR here. I have heard that spousal open work permit (SOWP) is the best way to bring my wife. PR will take long time. and visitor visa may get rejected on the ground that you are married. I have applied for SOWP, 2 weeks back...

As said, how long your PGWP was? Should be 3 years probably. If you get PGWP for less than 3 years due to passport expiring date it's a chance you can extend it if you have a new passport. Anyways to apply for PR through EE you need a English Test (IETLS standard or CELPIP standard), you...
