It is odd that you don't need to provide proofs of financial support. I honestly don't know why they don't want you to send those, but I think it is always safe to stick to the application checklist you find in your CAQ portal. Have you received a 4-5 page application checklist via your portal...

i got the update today that the documents were received on Mar 31 as well. i don't know how may more days i have to wait to get a CAQ decision, but at least i know that they got my documents -- after 24 days!

thanks vivo. i called the ministry again this morning (22 working days) and was told that they would a message to the relevant department. the lady who answered my call said that i should get either a confirmation of receipt or CAQ decision by this friday. fingers crossed.

Same thing going on here. My documents were delivered on Mar 31. still no confirmation of receipt. I called the MICC yesterday and the lady there told me that they haven't heard from the mail department yet, and there's nothing they could do. I really don't know for how many more days I have to wait
