Your experience will be counted only from the date you actually started working. And even if you worked more than 30 hrs/week, I don't think you can assume you have a year of work experience before it has actually been a year since your first day at work.

Usually, hospitals would call you if you have any problem (considering you might want to opt for treatment from them), and if you are fine, they just submit the result to the embassy. After ITA, you can ask for the proof of funds from bank anytime you want. Hope it helps.
