If you have AOR you can apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit. You need to apply before your PGWP expires.

I didn’t apply for Bridging work permit, I applied for the one time policy PGWP extension and I got it in 4 weeks, valid for 18 months

I believe what you're referring to is the Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP). To qualify to apply for the BOWP - your current work permit must have four months left or less to expiry.

you need to apply for closed WP for you. Open workpermit not possible in your case because you don't Federal file no (AOR)
