    What now?

My parents have passed all the paperwork—police, medical, and so on—and everything is fine. They also received the "Certificat de sélection du Québec" (which was transmitted by the Quebec Immigration Ministry to the IRCC). On the IRCC website, it says that all documents have been received and a...

    Quebec - No CSQ (yet)

I got the email from IRCC that I have to apply for the Quebec Certificate of Selection, which I did - sending the Quebec ministry all the necessary documents. Two days ago I got an email from the IRCC asking me to update the file by uploading the Police certificate and the CSQ. While I did...

    Quebec - No CSQ (yet)

Got a letter from IRCC that I need to provide a few documents (police certificate, another passport copy) and the CSQ. I uploaded the other documents, but I didn't receive yet any CSQ from the Quebec MIFI. So, should I "update" the info on the platform WITHOUT the CSQ and send them an email...

    No expiry on Police Certificate?

When IRCC asks for the Police Certificate, the "expiry date" is requested. There is no expiry date on the certificate, so what can somebody do? Without that date, you cannot upload it. Should I set a date 6 months later?

    Updating IMM 5562?

I already filled up the travel history for my father. We are in the process of waiting. He is also coming to visit me this summer, and we will probably visit New-York too (he has a visa). Do I have to update the information with the new "arrival" and "exit" dates online?

    Completing IMM 5406

Here is the situation, for THIS case: My father (the PA) and my mother (Spouse of the PA). I know that EACH must complete his/her own IMM 5406. The IRCC asked me to add some extra information, and they ASKED specifically NOT to update via the online application, but the PAPER version - which...

    How to write the names?

Because I have to add some information I didn't properly wrote, I am looking at an issue that might (or not) be raised by the IRCC agents. This goes for PAs coming from countries where it is usual that a married woman takes the name of the husband, or adds a "-" and combines the two last names...

Regarding answers received for IMM 5406

I am talking about the web application, the PAPER application is (kind of) clear. I just received a letter stating that the information is not complete. On the web version, the PA completed choice [Yourself (the PA)]. Then completed the other choice (for mom) [On behalf of any of your family...

    IMM 1344 (AGAIN)!

Yes, that is the only logical answer and way to get the job done. But the IRCC SPECIFIES that (the sponsor) doesn't need to print, he only needs to complete, sign (electronically) then press the validate button and so on. ONly that the VALIDATE button DOESN'T WORK this way (with only one...

    IMM 1344 (AGAIN)!

So - The sponsor should type in both signatures (sponsor and PA) to be able to validate. Based on your info, this would be the steps? SPONSOR: 1. Complete form, sign BOTH (as sponsor and as PA) 2. Validate 3. Save form on PC 4. email to PA PA: 5. Print form 6. Sign (manually) 7. Scan 8. Upload...

    IMM 1344 (AGAIN)!

Before sending the completed form to the PA, it is mentioned that by pressing the VALIDATE button, the QR codes will be created. Well, with ONLY the sponsor's signature, it doesn't work, the form ASKS for the PA's digital signature, which (theoretically) you dont have (yet). So, what would be...

    IMM 1344 (Application to sponsor)

Aha. To wrap things up, the SPONSOR completes the form, signs, validates and emails the form to the PA. The PA prints it, signs it, scans it, then uploads it through the portal. Thank you

    IMM 1344 completing and uploading

On IMM 1344, once completed, signed and validated, it specifies the 5th step, which is "5. Give an electronic copy to the person being sponsored (principal applicant) to upload into their online application." Does that mean that the PA must have a portal to be able to upload his copy of the IMM...
