You can apply for your citizenship even with an expired passport. The only ask is that you provide all your passports covering the 5 year eligibility period. It doesn't have to be a valid passport.

I had requested access a while back and didn't get it. As @lexxy mentioned, I found 2 mails from them in my Spam folder. So that might be the issue.

The US visa alone is 160 USD, UK visa (6 months visa) is approx. ~ 300 CAD. Except you don't ever plan to leave your home country and even at that still apply.
